Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Helpers / Home Care / Aged Care Assistants to provide essential support to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes or care facilities. The ideal candidate should be patient, empathetic, and committed to improving the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and emotional support.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Personal Care Assistance

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help with mobility support, including transfers, walking, and physical therapy exercises.
Ensure proper hygiene and comfort for clients at all times.

2. Household Support

Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
Assist with grocery shopping and other errands.

3. Medical & Health Monitoring

Remind clients to take medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health conditions.
Assist with basic first aid and emergency response when needed.

4. Emotional & Social Support

Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
Encourage participation in social activities, hobbies, and light exercises.
Offer emotional support and reassurance to enhance the client’s well-being.

5. Compliance & Safety

Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures to protect clients and caregivers.
Maintain accurate records of daily care activities and report concerns to supervisors.
Adhere to all care policies and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in home care, aged care, or nursing assistance is a plus.

Skills:
